MEDIEVAL JOURNEY IN THE LAND OF SANTA MARIA
SUNDAY 05.08.2005
As I hoped, I managed to go to the Fair in the last day to see the Grand Tournament.

It was a bit difficul to buy the tickets as they were running out... but we managed to bought them! :)

While we waited to get in we saw the knights parading to get in the Grand Tournament. Before the knights came these bagpipers.

This is a helper, and he's kinda cute!

And here's the Black Knight and the Green Knight (Don Raoul).

Here's them again.

This one's the Brown Knight, Don Vladimir Valakja.

These guys are the entertainers.

They play with the audience till the knights come in!

This guy was fine!

These are the helpers.

Here's the Green Knight, Don Raoul.

We had to cheer for him!

And we did that easily!

All the knights stand before the count and the countess.

This is the Green Knight's "escudeiro".

The Black Knight tries to intimidate the Blue Knight.

And the Green Knight once again cheers the audience!!

My Green Knight chooses another spear.

And this is Don Vladimir!

Green Knight and his "escudeiro".

The Blue Knight fights the Black Knight (but the Blue was defeated... sadly).

Don Vladimir fights the Red Knight.
In the end the Black Knight won the Tournament... sadly... :s

After the Tournament the knights stood outside for us to photograph and stuff...

So I photographed them!! :)

Here's "Sir Metal" and "Sir Lancelot" as I called them before I knew their names...

Me with the Green Knight. :)

A close up to the Green Knight.

The Blue Knight is autographing my ticket.

My ticket autographed by the four knights. :)

The Blue Knight giving me my ticket.

Me and the Blue Knight.

He's now autographing my sister's ticket!

Sir Metal, as I prefer to call him! :)

Don Raoul gives my sister her signed ticket while his horse went crazy!

The sign of a tavern... (mocho means owl)

This little store was so cool... the smell was very intense but I loved it... it's just sad the photographs can't retain smell... :(

To finish the night we saw the drummers while I bought a black bracelet.
